Show notification
Shows a notification banner in the app while the script runs. Use it to tell the operator something happened or needs attention.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | The style of the notification: Info, Success, Warning or Error. |
| Title | The text of the notification. |
| Autoclose | When on, the notification disappears by itself after a short time. When off, it stays until someone closes it. |
How it works
- Below the title, the notification says which script showed it ("Triggered by …"), including the folder of the script. You don't need to repeat the script name in the title.
- The script does not wait for the notification to be closed; it continues right away.
Example
A script that sends trains into a station first checks whether a platform track is free. When all tracks are occupied, it shows a Warning "Station full, train waits at the signal" with Autoclose off, so you notice it even when you look away for a moment.
