Store state
Remembers the current state of the selected vehicle: its speed, direction, and the state of all its functions. Restore state puts the vehicle back into exactly this state later. This action has no settings.
How it works
- The state is stored for the current script run. Storing again replaces the earlier stored state.
- A script started with Execute script shares the stored state with the script that started it. This is what makes the Before and After scripts of Request clearance work.
Example
A train drives through a slow-speed section. Before entering, the script uses Store state and sets the speed to 20%. After the train has left the section, Restore state brings it back to its original speed, with all functions as they were.
