Timing
Automation is often about waiting: for a train to reach a sensor, for a signal to clear, or simply for a passenger stop to end. These actions pause the script until the moment is right.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Wait | Pause for a set or random amount of time, or until a specific time. |
| Wait for condition | Pause until a condition becomes true, such as a sensor or a signal state. |
TIP
Prefer Wait for condition whenever the script waits for a train. Sensors tell you where a train really is; a timed wait only guesses.
