Set accessory
Sets an accessory to a specific state: a turnout to straight or diverging, a signal to red or green, a decoupler on, and so on. All DCC accessories are controlled the same way, through their address and state.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Accessory | The accessory, picked from your layout. Tap select from layout and choose one of the highlighted items. |
| State | The state to set, chosen from the states of that accessory. |
If you turned on Enable non linked entries in the advanced options of your profile, you can switch the action to manual and enter the addresses yourself:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Address 1 | The DCC address, the state to set, and an optional deactivation time in milliseconds. |
| Address 2 | Optional second address with its own state and deactivation time, for accessories that need two addresses. |
Picking the accessory from the layout is recommended: when you change an address later, every script follows automatically.
How it works
- The address, states, and any deactivation time are taken from the accessory as you configured it in the layout. Accessories that use two addresses, such as some multi-aspect signals, get both addresses set automatically.
- Extended accessories (address and value) are supported as well.
- The action sends the command and continues right away. It does not wait for the turnout to finish moving.
