Set profile
Applies one of the vehicle profiles to the selected vehicle. A profile sets speed, direction and functions in a single action, with values that you tune per vehicle.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Profile | The profile to apply. |
| Profile | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Idle | Standing still, ready to depart. |
| Shunting | Low speed for shunting. |
| Slow | Slow running, for example entering a station. |
| Medium | Normal running speed. |
| Fast | High speed on the open line. |
How it works
- What each profile does is defined per vehicle in its profiles: a speed, a direction, and which functions to turn on, turn off, or leave unchanged. Anything the profile leaves unchanged keeps its current value.
- The selected vehicle must be in your vehicles list. For a vehicle that was entered manually, or detected by address only, nothing happens.
TIP
Profiles keep your scripts independent of individual locomotives. A script that says "slow" into the station works for a fast express and a slow shunter alike, because each vehicle defines its own "slow".
