Control flags to influence automation behavior

Set flags

Sets flags at the script level. Script-level flags only exist during the current script run. They are combined with the global flags and the flags of the selected vehicle whenever a condition checks a flag.

Settings

SettingDescription
FlagsThe flags to turn on for this script run. Every flag configured in your profile is listed with a toggle.

How it works

  • The action replaces all script-level flags set earlier in the run; it does not add to them. Turn on every flag you need in one action.
  • To clear all script-level flags, use this action with no flags turned on.
  • Script-level flags cannot turn off a global or vehicle flag. A flag counts as active when it is active at any level: global, vehicle, or script.
  • When the script ends, its script-level flags are gone.

Example

A round-trip script normally stops at every station. A choice at the start asks Express or stopping service?, and the Express option sets the flag Express. Each station stop is a group with the execute condition "Flag Express is not enabled", so the express train passes straight through.
