Release clearance
Gives a clearance back to the Train Dispatcher. Scripts and manual moves that are waiting for an overlapping path try again right away, and usually one of them now gets its clearance.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Use clearance name | When off, the action releases the clearance that this script requested. When on, it releases the clearance with the given name, whichever script requested it. |
| Name | Only shown when Use clearance name is on. The clearance name, picked from the names already used in your profile. |
How it works
- When there is nothing to release (the script holds no clearance, or no clearance has that name), the action does nothing and the script continues.
- Releasing does not change any turnouts; it only frees the path for others.
- Clearance names work the same as in Request clearance: upper case and surrounding spaces are ignored.
Example
A train drives from the station into a shared tunnel section with a clearance named Tunnel. A separate event-triggered script runs when the sensor at the tunnel exit becomes active and releases the clearance Tunnel by name. This way the section is freed exactly when the train leaves it, whichever script brought it there.
